Welcome to your Lebanese home-from-home. Refurbished and extended in 2017, Meejana “Maison” develops our twelve-year history delivering exceptional Lebanese food with a new bar area, comfy sofas and a baby grand piano (played on Saturday evenings by our resident pianist Pasqual). You are welcome to drop in and relax, sip a coffee, enjoy a cocktail or sample our great food. We are now more than just a restaurant, we are a place to wine, dine and unwind.

Join us on the weekend for brunch. Served between 11am and 3pm there is a selection of Lebanese classics, plus our twist on popular dishes such as Eggs Benedict and Croque Monsieur. Accompanied with an eclectic brunch cocktail list and it’s looking like a good weekend.

We have possibly one of the broadest mezze selections in a Lebanese restaurant and prepare all dishes fresh to order. Small plates range from classic hummus and tabbouleh to more exotic dishes such as bastorma, frogs legs and sweetbreads. Our lunch menu also features selected mezze platters which are great to share.

Alongside our wide mezze selection, we also offer a bounty of family-style dishes (yakhnes) which include regular favourites such as Daoud Basha (meatballs), Kibbeh Labaniyeh (Kibbeh in a yoghurt and mint sauce), Samke Tajen (Sea Bass in a sesame sauce) as well as our house specials including Djej Meejana (our almost-legendary 12-spiced chicken) and Lebanese-style Lamb Tagine.

& Events

We regularly hire out part or all of our venue for events which range from weddings to birthdays to corporate functions and presentations. Our space is versatile and we can also arrange live entertainment which varies from traditional Lebanese belly dancing to pianists and other musicians to play live.

Shisha

Pipes

We offer a wide selection of shisha/hookah flavours from Al Fakher including classics such as double apple, mint, grape, mixed berries, orange, cherry as well as others such as melon. You can mix them too. We also stock shisha accessories so you can always drop in and purchase the coals, heads, foils, etc. We don’t carry a huge range so it’s always good to call ahead to check stock. We can also order the tobacco for you.

& Delivery

We offer a full take away service from our restaurant on Church Street. You can order through our own online system and get a 10% discount on collection orders. We offer delivery through our delivery partner, Deliveroo, and you can order anything from a quick snack to an office lunch to a meal for the family. Philosophy

Our philosophy for our food is simple: use the best ingredients and prepare each dish fresh to order with unparalleled attention to detail. Our menu includes many seafood dishes from the coast, alongside dishes from the interior (often lamb or chicken). Our mezze is extensive and includes delicacies such as sweetbreads and frogs legs. Our main courses include family recipes from the owner’s Lebanese family which are unique to us. We also offer a wide selection of grills and other traditional dishes so there is something for everybody.

Our desserts are home-made and include Lebanese classics such as Baklava and Maamoul as well as a small selection of crêpes, Om Ali, Halva and artisan ice creams and sorbets.

Couple this with an extensive wine list, including many wines from Lebanon, Syria and the New and Old World and you have a Lebanese restaurant unlike the others, gaining international recognition with the LUX Tourism Award for Best Middle Eastern Dining Experience in Surrey in 2018.

Meejana’s Lebanese restaurant and bar is situated on the corner of Church Street and Limes Road (opposite Cellar One, the Queen’s Head and near Bar 39, Cantina 41 and Giggling Squid). Meejana in Weybridge seats around 70 guests and has a bar with a hand-made, inlaid mosaic Phoenician alphabet. Our corner location offers a terrace outside – great in the afternoon sun in summer – or a nice place to take a relaxed shisha. The interior is split into three separate areas, so you can choose to sit in the bar area, the rear dining room with its vaulted ceiling and wrought iron chandelier, or our newly added dining area in the converted Hussein Tandoori which we acquired in 2017.
