Meejana in Kensington (on the borders of Chelsea, Fulham and Earls Court) is a discrete hidden gem of a Lebanese Restaurant. A relative newcomer on the West London dining scene, Meejana London is the sister restaurant to the original site in Weybridge which opened in 2007 and is famous for its home-made Lebanese food.
Meejana offers the widest selection of mezze, including traditional dishes such as hummus, moutabbal and tabbouleh as well as more exotic dishes such as frogs’ legs and lamb sweetbreads. Alongside traditional grills, we also offer a wide selection of family dishes drawn from our Lebanese family heritage and you’ll find traditional dishes such as Kibbeh Labaniyeh as well as house specialities like Djej Meejana (12-spiced chicken) and Kharouf Ouzi (Lamb Shank with Ouzi Rice). Desserts include baklawa, artisan ice creams, om ali and home made crepes. For special functions we can make dishes you require ranging from game to other traditional Middle Eastern favourites.
The space is intimate and welcoming with rich, soft fabrics breaking up the layout. An eclectic mix of art dots the walls with contemporary and classical pieces here and there. The wine list has been hand-picked to compliment the food and there is something for every palette from the Lebanese house red through to fine wines such as Chateau Talbot. We offer wines from many Lebanese producers as well as European, Old and New World bottles.
Weekly, on a Saturday evening, we also have live piano music to accompany your meal.
